Samsung launches My Samsung Rewards, a unique platform to reward Galaxy consumers

New Delhi, India, October 14, 2014: My Samsung Rewards is a unique platform created reward the loyalty from our own users while also welcoming new users into Samsung. Delivered through a mobile app, the program will be ‘by invitation only’ and will be launched first on Note 4 and Alpha. 

The program offers a rich blend of:

• Reward points powered by Payback
  • Consumers can now earn and redeem PAYBACK points on chosen Samsung Galaxy products such as Galaxy Note 4 and Alpha.
  • They continue to also earn PAYBACK points on a large network of everyday product and services
• Customized Deals on premium brands & services such as
  • Taj Holidays, Myntra, Caratlane, Goibibo, Costa coffee, Apollo health and more
• ·         Tailor made upgrade offers and special incentives on Samsung Galaxy products 
• ·         Disproportionate incentives for Loyal Samsung consumers:
  • In line with our philosophy of rewarding loyalty, the program offers disproportionately high incentive to current Samsung users.
  • For instance existing Samsung users get 10000 PAYBACK points on purchase of the Note 4 while new consumers get 4000 PAYBACK points

Key modules of the program:

1. a.     Payback Rewards 

• Consumers are enrolled into the program post purchase of the Galaxy Note 4 and Alpha. To enroll, eligible consumers are sent a link to the app via an SMS. They can also download the app by sending REWARDS to 56886.
• Consumers who already have an existing Payback account get linked automatically on registration. New Payback ids are issued to those who are not existing Payback members
• Existing Samsung consumers get 10000 payback points on purchase of the Note 4, while new customers get 4000 welcome points. The points are credited to the consumer’s account within 7 days of purchase
• Consumers can redeem their Payback points across the network of Payback partners, which now includes Samsung
• Existing Payback members can also redeem their accumulated points for over the counter discounts through POS at select Samsung retail outlets. For details of stores visit www.payback.in/samsung
• The Payback partner network consists of some of the brands like Big Bazaar, Central, eZone, Vodafone, HPCL, Make my trip, Book My Show,Flipkart,Amazon,Myntra,Jabong and more.
