Oracle to Train 300,000 Students and Professionals across Uttar Pradesh in AI, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and Data Science
Oracle announced a collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh State Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) to deliver skills training in AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and data science to 300,000 students and professionals by 2029. The initiative aims to boost employability and support career growth, while building a future-ready talent pool for an innovation-led economy, and includes over 300 hours of structured learning paths across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), OCI Enterprise AI, OCI Data Science, Oracle APEX, OCI DevOps, and Oracle Security.
“With one of the largest youth populations in the country, Uttar Pradesh is well positioned to build a strong, future-ready workforce,” said Dr. Hari Om, principal secretary, Vocational Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh. “Our collaboration with Oracle reflects the state government’s commitment to empowering the next generation of talent by enhancing employability at scale and preparing youth for opportunities in a global, technology-driven economy. This initiative will further strengthen the state’s talent pipeline and support its long-term digital and economic growth.”

The program will be delivered for free as a digital learning experience through UPSDM’s Oracle MyLearn, which is a comprehensive training and enablement platform from Oracle University that is used by millions of trainees around the world. UPSDM’s Oracle MyLearn provides foundational cloud training as well as professional certifications and additional learning tailored to different skill level and goals. Learners can earn badges alongside professional certifications to showcase their readiness for specialized roles and to help employers identify qualified candidates.
