Garmin India unveils fēnix 5X Plus GPS Multisport Watch
Garmin India has announced the launch of fēnix 5X Plus Multisport Watch. This next generation watch offers music storage of up to 500 songs. The rugged watch is specially meant for athletes and outdoor adventurers. The fēnix 5X Plus has a wrist-based Pulse Ox sensor to track blood oxygen saturation awareness at higher altitudes.
This watch has built-in navigation sensors that include three-axis compass, gyroscope and barometric altimeter as well as multisatellite (GPS, GLONASS and Galileo) network capability to track in more challenging environments than GPS alone. The intelligent features built in the watch i.e. GroupTrack and LiveTrack allow users to keep tabs on their buddies for adventures such as skiing and friends to follow their adventures in real time respectively. The Round-trip Run and Round-trip Ride routing options give runners and cyclists the ability to enter a distance they would like to travel and have the watch suggest appropriate courses.
The trendy watch is made of premium materials for rough use and is fitted with scratch-resistant sapphire lens. The stylish multisport watch comes in a distinct design as a PVD coated stainless-steel bezel with a silicone watch band. The watch is fitted with Garmin Chroma Display with LED backlighting for readability in all conditions. Users have a variety of Quickfit Bands to choose from.
The watch can track the heart rate 24/7 using its Wrist-Based Heart Rate feature. With features like smart notifications, automatic upload to Garmin Connect, personalization through free watch faces and apps from Connect IQ, the watch can be customized as per the user requirements. Using the performance widgets users can easily access their training statistics such as form and performance. They can easily tap into physiological metrics, running dynamics and through the analysis understand if they are overtraining, maintaining or peaking in terms of their workouts. Users can download playlists from select music streaming services like iHeartRadio, Deezer or directly transfer from a computer and use a pair of Bluetooth headphones to listen to music while on the move.
The fēnix 5X Plus offers up to 18 days of battery life in the smartwatch mode, 30 hours in the GPS mode and 11 hours in GPS and Music mode. Users can take advantage of the UltraTrac power saver mode to extend battery life even more Up to 64 hours.

The fēnix 5X Plus is priced at INR 79,990 and available at web stores of Garmin, Paytmmall, Amazon, Flipkart etc. The series would also be available in select offline stores Chroma, Reliance Digital, Helios-The Watch Store, Just in Time, etc.
