Sinch launches SaaS conversational messaging platform for SMBs in India
Sinch AB (publ), a global player in cloud communications for mobile customer engagement is expanding its product portfolio in India. After the acquisition of ACL Mobile, a leading provider of cloud communications services in India and Southeast Asia in 2020 the company set-up a sales team for a software-as-as-service platform for conversational messaging for SMBs under the brand MessengerPeople by Sinch.
The platform – is a cloud-based software suite that makes it easy for businesses to engage with their customers via messaging apps like WhatsApp, Instagram Direct Messaging, Telegram and Apple Business Chat (iMessage). The product was added to Sinch’s portfolio in November 2022 through the acquisition of the German company MessengerPeople from Munich. Worldwide, over 800 businesses already use the MessengerPeople product to engage with their customers.

With easy-to-use applications that are designed for SMB business users, the MessengerPeople solution complements Sinch’s API-based offering for larger enterprises and channel partners. The MessengerPeople platform is particularly well-suited for pre-sales in form of WhatsApp marketing, bulk messaging, and customer care.
