NorthStar wins Top Product of the Year award at SOE Global Education Awards

SOE is an organization committed to raising benchmarks in quality education and recognizes, publicizes and awards outstanding contributions in the school/ higher education sector in Indian managed schools and organizations.

Under the category of Global Private Sector Education Awards, NorthStar was chosen for its innovation in student safety management. Since its inception, NorthStar has aimed to make child safety its priority. The motive is to ensure that parents are well informed of their child’s whereabouts as they travel to school and back home. NorthStar has also eased the burden on schools facing problems with student and transport safety.

NorthStar was judged based on their innovation, scalability, replicability and the ability to overcome challenges, achievements and the impact potential. Each of the awards was judged by a distinguished panel of experts.

NorthStar recently announced an initiative with the Institute of Road Traffic Education (IRTE) to offer free training to schools across Bangalore to sensitise and educate bus drivers in best practices. The initiative has the goal of ensuring the safety of all children travelling in school buses in the city and is expected to impact more than two lakh School children in Bangalore. The initiative aims to generate awareness on traffic rules & safety regulations in general and increase sensitivity amongst transport managers and drivers on the critical role they play in ensuring the well being of school children.
