CA Technologies Receives Accolade in Governance, Risk & Compliance Solutions for Second Straight Year
New Delhi, India, June 11, 2015: CA Technologies has announced that it has been voted, for the second consecutive year, into the top spot in the Governance, Risk & Compliance Solutions category of this year’s NetworkWorld Asia (NWA) Information Management Awards. This marks the third time in four years CA has received this honor.
After five months of evaluation and three phases of judging by NetworkWorld Asia editors and 100 CIOs and IT heads of end-user organizations across Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ), the security solutions offered by CA Technologies emerged as these experts’ top choice to meet the governance, compliance, and risk requirements of today.
“We are thrilled to once again receive the NWA Information Management Award, reaffirming CA’s regional leadership in the security management sphere. For the third year, industry influencers and thought leaders have recognized our vision of security as a core business function instead of a back-room afterthought,” said Vic Mankotia, vice president, Security & API Management, Asia Pacific & Japan, CA Technologies. “In today’s application economy, security is more important than ever, not just to protect, but also to deliver frictionless and positive customer experience and contribute to business growth.”
CA Technologies, along with the rest of the finalists, were chosen based on the following criteria:
- Reputation of vendor in the marketplace;
- Features and USPs of the vendor’s solutions/tools;
- Widespread acceptance of technology and/or brand;
- Users’ feedback on the solutions/deployments;
- Contributing factors such as durability, scalability and quality of service.
“For three out of four years, CA Technologies has been the vendor of choice among the region’s top IT leaders for the Governance, Risk and Compliance category of this award. This is a strong endorsement of the company’s comprehensive and unique security portfolio that breaks through as not just an IT function, but as a business enabler,” said Victor Ng, South East Asia Bureau Chief for NetworkWorld Asia.
