OnePlus has maintained its leadership position in the premium smartphone segment in India with 44% share

OnePlus is the market leader in the premium (USD 500-700) smartphone segment, with a market share of 44% in India, according to IDC Asia Pacific Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker, February 2019.

OnePlus has also emerged as one of the Top 5 Smartphone Brands in USA in Q4 2018. The key growth driver for the brand in USA during the quarter was its partnership with one of the biggest network carriers, T-Mobile during the launch of OnePlus 6T.

As per IDC’s latest Asia/Pacific Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker Press Release dated February 12, 2019, “The premium end of the market (USD 500+) outgrew all the other price segments of 2018 with 43.9% YoY growth. OnePlus emerged as the leader (USD 500-700) on the back of the OnePlus 6 and the newly launched OnePlus 6T.”
