Fujifilm to Showcase Global Semiconductor Materials Expertise and Make in India Commitment at SEMICON India 2026

FUJIFILM India announced its participation at SEMICON India 2026, India’s premier semiconductor industry exhibition, taking place from September 17–19, 2026, at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. Located at Hall 1, Booth 623, the company will showcase its semiconductor materials portfolio and global technology capabilities, while highlighting its commitment to supporting the continued development of India’s semiconductor ecosystem.

As India strengthens its capabilities across the semiconductor value chain, access to advanced materials, technical expertise and resilient supply chains will play an important role in enabling the growth of semiconductor manufacturing in the country. Fujifilm brings decades of global expertise in materials science and a comprehensive semiconductor materials portfolio spanning multiple stages of the semiconductor manufacturing process.

The participation also marks the continued progression of FUJIFILM India’s engagement with the country’s semiconductor ecosystem. The company is working closely with customers, government stakeholders and industry partners to understand local requirements and explore opportunities to bring its global technologies, manufacturing expertise and know-how closer to the Indian market. As part of this journey, FUJIFILM India signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Gujarat State Electronics Mission (GSEM) in June 2026 to explore opportunities for semiconductor materials manufacturing in Gujarat and strengthen domestic supply-chain capabilities.

At SEMICON India 2026, Fujifilm will showcase a range of semiconductor materials and solutions designed to address the increasingly complex requirements of advanced semiconductor manufacturing. Key highlights will be the display of Make in India initiatives and along with a technology demonstration around the company’s Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) slurry solutions in which FUJIFILM Electronic Materials commands high market share globally. The demonstration will illustrate the role of advanced material technologies in enabling precision planarization and supporting process consistency during semiconductor fabrication.

Mr. Koji Wada, Managing Director, FUJIFILM India, said, “India is entering an important phase in the development of its semiconductor ecosystem, and we see a meaningful opportunity to contribute through the materials technologies, expertise and global capabilities that Fujifilm has built over decades. Our participation at SEMICON India 2026 reflects our commitment to engaging closely with customers, government and industry partners as this ecosystem continues to evolve. Guided by our Group Purpose of ‘Giving our world more smiles,’ we remain committed to creating value for society by supporting technologies and manufacturing capabilities that can contribute to India’s long-term growth.”

Fujifilm has built a global semiconductor materials business supported by an extensive manufacturing network across key markets, enabling the company to respond to evolving customer and technology requirements. In India, the company is focused on combining this global expertise with a deeper understanding of local industry requirements to support the development of a competitive and resilient semiconductor ecosystem.

Mr. Abhi Shekhar Singh, National Head – Strategy & Business Development, Electronic Materials Division, FUJIFILM India, said, “SEMICON India 2026 will be a flagship event for FUJIFILM India’s electronic materials business. Aligned with the theme ‘Silicon to Systems: Building the Ecosystem,’ we look forward to leveraging this platform to showcase our capabilities and reinforce our role as a trusted partner in India’s growing semiconductor value chain. A key highlight of our exhibition will be a working model demonstrating the precision of our CMP Slurries, capable of achieving polished circuit surface flatness within 0.4 nanometers. I eagerly anticipate engaging with government representatives, customers, and suppliers who share our commitment to advancing India’s semiconductor ecosystem.”

Through its participation at SEMICON India 2026, Fujifilm aims to strengthen engagement with semiconductor manufacturers, ecosystem partners and policymakers, while demonstrating how its global semiconductor materials capabilities can support evolving industry requirements in India. The company will continue to explore opportunities for collaboration and localisation as it advances its contribution to the country’s semiconductor ambitions.
