Rapido’s Food Delivery App Ownly Puts Bengaluru’s Hidden Food Gems on the Map with ‘Only on Ownly’

Rapido’s standalone food delivery app, Ownly, has launched ‘Only on Ownly,’ a new series on its Instagram page that spotlights some of Bengaluru’s best hidden restaurants. Through short videos, the series introduces followers to neighbourhood favourites and small, lesser-known eateries that have largely stayed off the food delivery radar.

Each episode features a restaurant that has built a loyal customer base over the years, mostly through word of mouth and consistently good food, but with little presence online. The videos capture what makes each place worth visiting: its story, its signature dishes, and the people running it, giving these restaurants a chance to reach a wider audience across the city.

The restaurants in the spotlight:

  • Aramane Donne Biryani — a culinary destination in Bengaluru known for its authentic, Nati-style donne biryani
  • The Cubano Sandwich Co — serves classic Cubano sandwiches with slow-cooked, butter-grilled fillings, alongside their popular chipotle quesadillas
  • Siddheshwaram Thali — offers unlimited Gujarati and North Indian thalis that taste like they came straight from a home kitchen, simple, wholesome and comforting
  • Shelly’s Deli — a small team of food service experts serving home-style cooking with their own personal twist
  • Wah Paratha — a popular North Indian restaurant in Bangalore serving authentic, Murthal-style stuffed parathas and Punjabi comfort food

The series ties into Ownly’s broader goal of helping smaller, independent restaurants go digital without cutting into their margins. Every restaurant featured is onboarded onto Ownly, giving them access to the app’s zero-commission, no hidden fee model. Restaurants keep what they earn, and customers pay only for the food and delivery.

‘Only on Ownly’ is part of Ownly’s effort to make Bengaluru’s food ecosystem more transparent and inclusive for restaurants of all sizes. The company continues to onboard new restaurants across the city as part of its larger push to make food delivery fairer for everyone involved, including customers, delivery partners and restaurant owners.
