Vodafone India enables its customers to experience seamless VODAFONE SuperNet 4G in Kedarnath, Uttarakhand
Vodafone India, announces the roll-out of its 4G services in Kedarnath, Uttarakhand to provide connectivity solutions to over half a million pilgrims visiting the holy shrine each year. The 4G site has been successfully installed in the vicinity of the temple at a height of about (11,755 ft), enabling customers to experience seamless VODAFONE SuperNet 4G in and around the temple premises.
The launch has been timed with the annual Chardham Yatra which draws pilgrims across the country to the recently renovated shrine set in the picturesque landscape, in Rudraprayag district. Vodafone customers visiting the shrine can now share their spiritual experience live, with friends and family across India and overseas through voice and video calls, sharing photographs and videos on VODAFONE SuperNet 4G.

As part of our Digital Uttarakhand mission, Vodafone has over the past year invested about ₹300 crores to strengthen connectivity in the Uttarakhand & Uttar Pradesh West region and equip remote locations, places of pilgrimage and crucial but inaccessible terrains, with a future fit network.”
