Sony India launches its flagship Master Series A9G BRAVIA OLED TV
Sony India launched its new MASTER Series A9G 4K HDR OLED televisions. The Master Series A9G is Sony’s new flagship 4K HDR OLED TV available in 139 cm (55) and 164 cm (65) in a very slim form factor. Over 8 million self-illuminating pixels are precisely and individually controlled by Picture Processor X1 Ultimate. In addition to the processor, the A9G has Pixel Contrast Booster for more colour and contrast in bright areas. As a result, the A9G provides exceptional picture quality approaching that of a professional-grade monitor, showing images and colours as they truly are, as the creator intended. This processor showing amazing versatility, also scales up SD (Standard Definition) and HD (High Definition) content to near 4K picture quality.
Sound comes directly from the screen in the Master Series A9G. Sound-from-Picture Reality faithfully reproduces the position of the sound on the screen so when actors are speaking, the sound appears to be coming directly from them and not from a speaker at the bottom of the screen. Acoustic Surface Audio+ with two actuators and two powerful subwoofers deliver multi-dimensional sound that immerses you in a captivating audio-visual entertainment experience. In addition, a TV Centre Speaker Mode provides choice to use the TV as the centre speaker when utilising a home theatre system to unleash an immersive cinematic experience.
For the ultimate in picture quality, the A9G pairs the brilliance of 4K clarity with the brightness, colour, and detail of High Dynamic Range (HDR). It features a picture model specially developed to enjoy Netflix Originals called the NETFLIX Calibrated Mode. This mode reproduces the same picture quality on the TV as the creators intended. On A9G you can also experience the cinema thrills with Dolby Vision that brings scenes vividly to life for authentic viewing, while Dolby Atmos fills the room with immersive surround sound. In addition the TV comes with eARC HDMI input to connect and enjoy Dolby Atmos content on supported audio devices.
The A9G OLED features Sony’s Android TV which supports a huge range of apps from Google Play, including YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Video, Hotstar, ALT Balaji, Zee5, Sony LIV and more for deep smart home integration. Making your TV and home even smarter, the A9G also has Google Assistant built-in. The built-in microphones on the TV will allow viewers to have a truly hands-free experience. Viewers can simply talk to the TV using the Google Assistant to find what they want quickly, or to play TV shows, movies, and more without using the TV remote. The TV can also work with popular smart speakers like Google Home or Amazon Echo, which allow viewers to control the TV and stream content on it just by asking smart speakers.
Sony Android TVs will be compatible with Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit. AirPlay 2 lets you effortlessly stream content from your iPhone, iPad and Mac right to your Sony TV. HomeKit lets you easily and securely control smart home products using the Home app or by asking Siri on your Apple devices. TVs can be added to the Home app and included in scenes or automations with other HomeKit accessories.
The A9G is very slim in depth, it fits as close as a picture and blends effortlessly with your room. When wall hung using the new SU-WL850 wall mount system, it will fit close to the wall at around half the distance of our previous model. This OLED TV is more than just beautiful, it is designed so that it appears to be floating on the wall, leaving only the brilliance of its picture. Furthermore, to bring the best viewing position and flexible usage, this new wall mount has a swivel functionality as preferred. This premium wall mounting system will come at no extra cost to the customers.
A9G comes with a slimmer, more rounded design with built-in voice control microphone and enhanced button layout for even more user-friendly experience. It connects the set-top boxes and other devices via HDMI to your TV and control them all using one smart remote. Also added to the smart remote is an RF so users can control the TV without pointing the remote. The newly developed user interface brings seamless and quick access to your favourite apps and settings.
A8G Series (65”and 55” models) BRAVIA OLED 4K TV
Another new addition to the BRAVIA OLED 4K TV rangeis the A8Gseries available in 65 and 55-inch screen sizes.It offers a significantly enriched visual experience with unprecedented blacks, rich colours, and a wide viewing angle. 4K HDR Processor X1TM Extreme provides the ultimate 4K HDR viewing experience by incorporating technologies like: Object-based HDR remaster, Super Bit Mapping™ 4K HDR and Dual database processing. The TV also supports Acoustic Surface Audio; which enables the entire screen to resonate with great sound emanating directly from the screen itself. This allows Sound-from-Picture Reality, a perfect unification of picture and sound that conventional TVs cannot deliver. The Android TV with Google Assistant built-in ensures hassle free user experience and endless entertainment.
