Pegasystems Expands India Presence

Pegasystems-Expands-India-PresenceHyderabad, India, December 17, 2014: Pegasystems, the software company powering the digital enterprise, today announced it is moving to a significantly larger campus at the heart of the IT Park Raheja Mindspace at Hitec City in Hyderabad that will allow the company to expand to accommodate the increasing global demand for Pega developers.

The new 300,000 sq. ft. facility, launched with a ribbon-cutting ceremony today, will house nearly 1,000 employees and triples the square footage over the DLF Building in Gachibowli where the company was previously located. The new office has the capacity to accommodate up to 2,000 employees and is designed in the theme of Hyderabad Heritage, giving it a royal look.

Pega opened its research and development centre in Hyderabad in 2008 and since then has been growing steadily along with the global demand for Pega software and Pega developers. The local facility has been instrumental in delivering strategic functions such as engineering services, solutions development and customer support, including global cloud support.

“Pega’s growth in India has been consistently strong, fueled by increasing demand for our software,” said Mike Pyle, Senior Vice President of Engineering and Product Development, Pegasystems.  “This expansion demonstrates the commitment we have to India and to Hyderabad, which was our first location in India, and continues to be a vibrant centre for future growth here.”

“Our team here is instrumental in helping us drive the next wave of digital innovation to empower the world’s largest organizations,” said Suman Reddy, Managing Director, Pegasystems India.  “We have and will continue to benefit from the amazing talent in Hyderabad and Bangalore that has helped us consistently achieve our goals and deliver for our clients.”
