Newgen EMEA Conclave 2014 focuses on ‘What, Why & How of Digital Transformation’

The event brought together global clients, prospects, consultants, and analysts under one roof, for an evening of practical debates, keynotes, customer success stories, and thought leadership panels.

While delivering the keynote address, Ross McLean, Leader of Digital and Customer Transformation Practice MENA, EY shared some startling facts on the adoption trends of digital technology across various consumer segments and geographies. “Interestingly, it is actually the emerging markets and the mid-aged consumers that are driving digital transformation globally.”

Paramjit Arora, Deputy Head of Enterprise Management Office, Bank Dhofar, after receiving the coveted WFMC Award from Mr. Diwakar Nigam, said in his address, “Our journey with Newgen started in 2010 and till date we have automated 13 processes. With Newgen, we have optimized costs and increased process efficiency with a tangible difference in processing speed.”

Ali Kazmi, FATCA Subject Matter Expert from Deloitte highlighted the business implications of FATCA for MENA region and said “In this reformed regulatory environment, Newgen can help organizations perform three core functions to comply with FATCA regulations – Classify, Report and Withhold, by managing their enterprise data and contributing to the enhancement of process visibility.”

Newgen also launched CXO Elite Club for the EMEA region. The CXO Elite Club is a unique thought leadership forum that brings together business leaders and IT evangelists to focus on the emerging digital technology trends such as mobile, social, and cloud that can help businesses across industries to build sustainable advantage in the market. Prior to the main event, multiple roundtable conferences were held, which revolved around key drivers of digital transformation in insurance, retail banking and corporate credit.
