Mygate launches MIRA, an AI-powered suite for smarter community management

Mygate, India’s leading community management platform, launched MIRA (Mygate Intelligent Response Assistant), a suite of AI-powered capabilities designed to simplify and automate critical financial and administrative workflows for Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) and housing societies.

The largest 25% of communities on Mygate manage an average of 700 homes, collect over ₹3.5 crore in annual maintenance each, and disburse more than ₹3.2 crore as an average annually across 40+ vendors in their respective communities. Yet much of the work involved in managing these finances—from vendor invoice verification to payment reconciliation—continues to rely on manual processes, consuming significant time and increasing the risk of errors. In pilot communities using MIRA, treasurers and accountants reported a reduction of up to 70% in time spent on these routine financial and administrative tasks.

MIRA brings AI directly into these workflows, helping committees and treasurers complete critical operational tasks faster and with greater accuracy. The new capabilities can automatically extract information from vendor invoices, reconcile payments, analyze vendor transactions, track collections, identify overdue accounts and surface actionable financial insights in seconds.

Built into the Mygate platform, MIRA enables committee members to move from manually searching records and compiling reports to simply asking questions and receiving instant answers backed by community data.

For treasurers, MIRA provides a comprehensive view of vendor payments by identifying transaction histories, highlighting spending patterns, flagging discrepancies and generating analysis—even from limited information such as cheque details. A task such as reconciling collections against bank records, which could previously take 30 minutes of manual effort per day, can now be completed in less than 5 minutes.

Shreyans Daga, Co-founder & CPO, Mygate, says, “Running a housing society is far more operationally intensive than most people realize. Committee members and treasurers are responsible for managing finances, vendors, collections, compliance and resident queries—often alongside their full-time jobs. Much of this work remains manual and time-consuming. With MIRA, tasks that once took hours can now be completed in seconds, enabling faster decisions, stronger financial governance and significantly less administrative burden for committees.”

MIRA is the latest example of Mygate’s continued investment in innovation for housing societies. By bringing AI into critical operational workflows, Mygate is helping community leaders spend less time on day-to-day administration and more time on decision-making. The platform today serves more than 27,000 communities and 5.7 million homes, processing billions of rupees in community transactions every year.
