LAVA launches P7 @ Rs. 5499
New Delhi, India, January 21, 2016: LAVA has launched Lava P7 at Rs. 5,499. The smartphone has a 5 inch display and is powered by a 32 bit MediaTek Quad Core 1.2 GHz Processor coupled with 1 GB RAM. It sports great aesthetics with a pearl finish and NCVM metallic lines in the middle housing. The 5 inch display comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass for protection and renders vibrant colors with FWVGA resolution. It runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 with a guaranteed upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports dual-SIM (both being 3G enabled). In terms of storage, it has 8 GB of internal memory that is expandable up to 32 GB with an SD card.
For photography, it has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera, both with an LED flash. The camera offers advanced features like Child Mode which makes it easy to capture the images of little ones; as there are sounds options like chuckles, bell sound, cat sound, dog sound, duck quacking, gun sound, train sound to capture the attention of the baby towards the screen and captures the picture of the child when his/her face is detected. Other camera features include Live Photo, Panorama, Voice Capture and Face Beauty. HD video recording and Full HD playback is also supported.
On the software front, Lava P7 features the latest Google Indic keyboard supporting 12 Indian languages. To add to this, there are other features like Multi-Point Touch, Custom & Drawing Gestures and Smart Wake-up. 3G connectivity on the P7 is in the 900 MHz band that offers a better experience. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The smartphone packs a tremendous 2000 mAh battery with Power saver mode, supporting a talk time of over 20 hours.
The smartphone will be available in vibrant colours such as White, Blue, and Gold (With Pearl Finish) at all national retail stores, multi-brand outlets and e-commerce platforms.
