The objective of the workshops is to reach out to the Internet businesses, developers and startup community to create awareness about the criticality of Universal Acceptance and the technical solutions being developed and also to promote Indian languages over the Internet. The workshop will also have a seminar, a tutorial on Universal Acceptance coding tools, followed by a coding challenge in which local developers can compete.
This initiative is expected to facilitate the integration of Indian scripts on the World Wide Web. Accessibility of Local Indian language content over the internet will boost e-commerce and local businesses resulting in greater internet penetration and usage in the country.
