FUJIFILM India Expands Access to Advanced MRI Diagnostics with First DLR-Enabled Echelon Smart Installation at JANSONS HEALTH, Erode
FUJIFILM India has installed and commissioned the FUJIFILM Echelon Smart MRI at JANSONS HEALTH in Erode. The installation expands access to advanced MRI services in the region and supports clinicians in delivering accurate, efficient diagnoses closer to patients.
The installation reflects the growing adoption of advanced imaging technologies beyond major urban centres. Designed for image quality, patient comfort, ease of operation and efficient clinical workflows, the system supports neurological, musculoskeletal, spine, abdominal and other advanced MRI examinations.
At the centre of the installation is the FUJIFILM Echelon Smart MRI, a high-performance system that combines advanced MRI technology with Fujifilm’s diagnostic-imaging expertise. The deployment marks a significant milestone for FUJIFILM as the company’s first MRI installation equipped with DLR technology. Powered by Deep Learning, DLR reduces image noise while enhancing sharpness and clarity, supporting high-quality imaging with shorter scan times. These capabilities help produce detailed images across a broad range of applications and support confident clinical evaluation and informed diagnostic decisions.
The centre’s existing imaging capabilities are supported by the Fujifilm low-dose Supria 32 CT system, designed to deliver fast, high-throughput examination while maintaining high image quality with optimised radiation dose. With high-speed scanning, it supports detailed clinical evaluation across a broad range of routine clinical applications while enabling efficient workflow and high patient throughput.
The Echelon Smart MRI also incorporates patient-centric design features aimed at making the scanning experience more comfortable and less stressful for patients. By focusing on the patient experience alongside imaging performance, the system is designed to support a smoother MRI examination process. The system is complemented by Fujifilm’s Synapse 3D advanced visualization and image analysis platform. Powered by Image Intelligence technology, the server-based platform provides a range of clinical applications across radiology, cardiology, surgery and oncology, supporting 3D modelling, image analysis and streamlined clinical workflows.
Complementing its imaging capabilities, the Echelon Smart MRI supports efficient operations and streamlined clinical workflows. Its intelligent technologies help technologists perform examinations smoothly and consistently by supporting image quality and reducing operational complexity.
The Echelon Smart MRI supports brain and neurological, spine, musculoskeletal, abdominal and pelvic, angiographic and whole-body examinations. This clinical breadth enables healthcare providers to address diverse diagnostic requirements on a single advanced MRI platform.
