Canon India promotes K. Bhaskhar to Vice President of Office Imaging Solutions Division
New Delhi, India, February 02, 2015: Canon India Pvt. Ltd has announced the promotion of K. Bhaskhar to the designation of Vice President of Office Imaging Solution (OIS) division, Canon India. Canon’s OIS division focuses on offering unparalleled document and printing management solutions to the large enterprise, SME and government sectors. The division has also started offering new services like Digitization and Canon Business Services (CBS) to help customers manage their end-to-end office printing requirements.
In his new role as the Vice President of OIS division, K. Bhaskhar will front head the entire gamut of sales and marketing for the OIS group with a special focus on growing the Canon Projector Business which will be re-launched for the Indian customers. He will also be taking care of growing the Print Room Services business, a part of CBS and will help his team aggressively tap the medium and large printing segments.
With aggressive growth plans, he will lead the OIS division and work towards making Canon the industry leader in the various businesses that comprise the division. He will be reporting directly to Mr. Kazutada Kobayashi, President & CEO, Canon India Pvt. Ltd.
K. Bhaskhar has been associated with Canon for over 17 years, working at different profiles in the enterprise domain of business solutions. His key organizational strengths include formation of business strategy, people management, conceptualization and solutions oriented approach in handling problems. With his vast experience and knowledge in various industries, Canon saw phenomenal growth, year on year, under his leadership.
Bhaskhar has a professional degree in Statistics from Loyala College, Chennai University. His hobbies include reading, cooking and travelling.
