CA Technologies opens new technology center in Bangalore
Pune, India, March 14, 2014: CA Technologies today announced the opening of CA Bangalore Technology Center, establishing a technology hub in India’s “Silicon Valley”. The new facility complements the CA India Technology Center in Hyderabad. The center plans to tap into the world-class talent base in Bangalore to further the development of differentiated, next generation solutions in emerging technologies.
The focus of the new center is on organic innovation in emerging technologies, including Mobility, Digital Payments, Big Data, Data Science/Advanced Analytics, DevOps and Security.
Ram Varadarajan, general manager, New Business Innovation, CA Technologies officially opened the Center in the company of employees, their families and high tech dignitaries from across Bangalore, and stated: “The CA Bangalore Technology Center will house some of the best and brightest developers and focus on developing solutions that will power our customers’ success. Organic innovation is at the heart of CA, and this new Center will enable greater collaboration and faster product development across a wide range of emerging technologies. Along with our Center in Hyderabad, we are making important investments in research and development in India to tap into the “world-class” talent available in this market.”
CA recently opened a new Technology Centre in Santa Clara, in the heart of Silicon Valley. The work done by development teams in Santa Clara and Bangalore contributed to the recent launch of the CA Management Cloud for Mobility, a comprehensive portfolio of solutions to enable our customers to seize the opportunities and manage the challenges of the new, mobile economy.

The CA Bangalore Technology Center is part of the company’s effort to hub technology development at key sites around the world to drive accelerated innovation. The center has a floor area of approximately 50,000 sq. ft. and will house more than 400 employees, including engineers and developers.
