BlackNGreen ties up with Airtel Africa
New Delhi, India, January 27, 2014: BlackNGreen, one of a VAS service providers in the world with range of products and services has collaborated with Airtel Africa thus strengthening their base in the region. It offers IVR-based products including entertainment, religion, current affairs, music, astrology, romance, movies etc. and currently, serves more than 50 operators in South East Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
With new signups being put in place, BNG will set foot in Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America shortly with a portfolio of innovative VAS products and mobile applications. BNG will increase the client base to 100 operators across multiple geographies by the end of 2014.
In this Partnership with the leading telecom giant Airtel Africa that has about 65 million subscribers, BNG is looking at a conversion rate of at least 5%-8% for its services in a 12 month time frame.
Director at BlackNGreen Rahul Gupta said “Africa holds a huge opportunity for us and is very receptive to new products. With Airtel Africa, we will further strengthen our presence in the region. The group level deal with Airtel Africa is expected to yield top line revenue of around USD 20 million. Partnerships like these will fuel our expansion plans across geographies.
Rahul Gupta further added, “We are looking at doubling our team size in the next eight months and will add offices across countries to support easy project implementation, deployments and logistics. We will have 4 hubs across Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria and Algeria to manage African operations. These hubs would house full-fledged teams and would act as centers from where support is provided to neighboring countries.
The flagship offering Magic Voice, the most successful product in the Magic Services Suite combines the functionalities of an excellent voice-morphing product with a regular call to offer a call experience like never before. This would be introduced across Airtel Africa. Religious services and other products from the BlackNGreen portfolio would also be introduced at a later stage as the partnership matures.
