My Views on RailYatri: Food ordering and Medical Emergency are just one tap away during Rail travelling
RailYatri provides customize and easy solution for the travelers. It is a unique platform that provides the most comprehensive information on trains, passenger amenities, food, time tables, platform information, speed of the train, personalized alerts on service disruption, new/special train announcements and much more via the mobile apps, mobile web and SMS.
Today, I’m going to share my views on RailYatri. Inside RailYatri there are some menus, like, RY Alert System, Live Train Status, Arrival/Departure, PNR Status, Rail Wisdom, Time Table, Trains Between Stations, Platform Locator, Seat Availability, and Premium Meals.
But here, I will try to share my views, which I used most.
To travel in a train, first you have to get a confirm birth, if you haven’t any confirm birth, you need to check in PNR Status. In RailYatri, PNR Status Predictor predicts the future status of your Wait listed PNR based on the history of over 15 lakh PNR numbers. Proprietary mathematical algorithm with tested accuracy. Save money by not buying multiple / tatkal tickets.
User can get GPS based live Train inquiry. They can know Running status of any train anytime. Share trips with their friends via whatsApp and/or track them as they enjoy their travel.
Food in train or Food ordering made easy by RailYatri. Simple and easy way to book a meal from a menu listing for food delivery on train. User can get his meal in good packaging. There is not any option for minimum order and best part is that user can track their meal’s order.
Indian Railway Time Tables can work offline to save user’s data costs.
Seat availability- Check which Waiting List (WL) has the best chance of confirmation. Make informed buying decisions.
Medical Emergency feature through the app will enable the users to check for vital information regarding medical facilities in the vicinity of their location. Healthcare has been a longstanding problem for travellers. Thousands of medical emergencies arise during train journeys in India yet no one has really thought about solving the problem. The RailYatri app considers location of the user and provides list of healthcare facilities at the upcoming stations. The information provided through the app is not just limited to hospital names, but also provide direction from station, contact numbers of hospitals and ambulance services one might require during an emergency.
Conclusion:
Apart from all, I use RailYatri most for GPS based live Train inquiry , Medical Emergency feature and Food ordering. I always use GPS based live Train inquiry and Food ordering. By God grace, I couldn’t use Medical Emergency feature, but, still it is a good part inside this app. It is an useful app for me.
