Foxconn ties up with Mozilla to develop Firefox 0S Tablets
New Delhi, India, January 13, 2014: Foxconn, a leading manufacturer of computer components and systems, has announced its tie up with Mozilla to develop tablets based on Firefox OS tablets.
Foxconn and Mozilla partnership are aimed at offering hardware, software and application designers opportunities to develop Firefox OS-based products. Mozilla will provide operating system (OS), development guides and OS upgrades and maintenance, while Foxconn will provide its expertise in developing hardware platforms.
