UST Global announces acquisition of Xpanxion
Pune, India, May 29th, 2014: UST Global, an information technology solutions and services company for Global 1000 enterprises, today announced its acquisition of Atlanta, GA-based Xpanxion, a global software services company. UST Global has acquired Xpanxion’s professional services organizations in Atlanta, GA, and Pune, India, as well as its rural technology centers in Kearney, NE; Loup City, NE; Ames, IA; and Manhattan, KS. Xpanxion will maintain its name and, as a UST Global subsidiary, will continue to operate as a key player in the industry.
This acquisition brings UST Global over 50 new clients and500 employees across six global locations. These clients, along with UST Global’s existing client base worldwide, will benefit from extended access to global development centers and greater options for domestic-based technology solutions, which emphasize understanding business needs and ensuring collaborative solutions. Clients can now rely on the combined expertise and experience of two companies that are the market leaders in business application development, mobile, and software testing services.

The acquisition will expand the delivery capabilities of both companies to better serve their current and future clients. Increased access to offshore development centers and skilled resources, including QA analysts, business and technology consultants, and sales and marketing professionals, will result in a larger overall global footprint for the two companies. Together, UST Global and Xpanxion aim to offer integrated teams that unite the cost effectiveness of an offshore team with the communication and quality of a US-based team.

Xpanxion’s current service offerings include cloud-based business application development, mobile application development, software testing services, and a full complement of technology and business consulting. The jobs brought on by the acquisition will range across many different areas including sales, marketing, account management, and product management. Along with the addition of jobs both in the US and India, this acquisition leads UST Global to add six US service centers.
