Astrum Holdings’ Pre-Budget expectations
Pre-Budget expectations by Mr. Puneet Dhandharia, Country Manager – India at Astrum Holdings Ltd:
With the budget approaching every industry have lots of expectations. No one knows whether this budget will be in favor of individual or corporate. The expectations from the current budget are very high for both the sectors.
This year the expectation is as below
• Business Friendly – Expected to get the Goods and Service Tax in place
• Entrepreneurship to be boosted.
• The budget should reiterate its commitment to DTC, GST & Companies bill.
• Service taxes and additional taxes like cess, education, etc. should be removed.
Hassle free infrastructure to be enabled for smooth business operation. The government should invest in mechanization, infrastructure, telecommunication and overall efficiency improvement measures to make trade smoother and effective.
Also, we hope that government should invest in development of world class infrastructure such as roads, power, public transportation, domestic and international transportation. As an individual we believe that the budget should also be job oriented and all these will automatically result in the growth which we all want.
