VivaConnect gets 2 nominations in Abby Awards, GoaFest 2015

Mumbai, India, April 01, 2015: VivaConnect, a Mobile Media Company, got 2 out of 8 nominations in the ‘Best Use of Mobile Media’ category at the Abby Awards, GoaFest 2015. The Awards will take place from 9-11 April at Grand Hyatt, Bambolim, Goa.

First nomination, LiveTalk, was an interactive Live audio streaming solution over a normal phone call. BJP chose LiveTalk to increase its reach and enhance engagement. Mobile penetration in India is 70% of the total population, which is much higher as compared to traditional media. Also, an average Indian carries his mobile phone 99% of the time, which made LiveTalk an optimum solution. The Voice Recognition feature delivered (on-demand) Mr. Narendra Modi’s thoughts on important issues, 24×7. Although its primary objective was to reach media dark regions, it also attracted the users who couldn’t attend rallies for any reason, or temporarily didn’t have access to traditional media.

On LiveTalk’s nomination Pranab Basu, VP – Sales and Operations, VivaConnect said, “I am glad that we could smoothly deliver the solution at such a large scale. This validates our capability based on the largest infrastructure for ‘Voice’ and ‘Missed Call’ in India. Awards and nominations are an additional benefit.”

The Second one, Bolt – 1 Minute Voice Race Challenge, is a ‘Voice Call’ based game for BOLT by TATA Motors. It was a pre-launch campaign which highlighted Bolt‘s Multi drive feature intelligently through a gamified format. The game utilized Mobile Keypad inputs as a medium to play the game. It also increased Brand Recall Value of the campaign for main print and other launch mediums. There was a substantial increase in Test-drive enquiries after the campaign.

Vikram Raichura, MD, VivaConnect said, “Connecting brands and businesses with their customers is our biggest gratification. Being nominated for such esteemed awards is an additional pleasure. It demonstrates the efficiency of our platform and strategy. ”
