The report observes that Samsung is the oft-preferred brand followed by Micromax, Karbonn, Lava, Motorola, Apple, HTC, LG, Sony and other brands. Also, the top model that has won the popularity vote among smart phone users is Samsung Galaxy S5 followed by Apple iPhone 6 and Intex Aqua Octa in that order.
In accordance with the report, Samsung holds the largest Smart phone vendor share in India i.e. 35%, as per the first quarter of 2014.
