element14 expands passives portfolio in Asia-Pacific with world’s capacitor leader KEMET
New Delhi, India, July 8, 2014: element14 has expanded its portfolio of KEMET capacitors for electronics design and production with the newest lines of super capacitors, inductors and signal relays, suitable for applications in automotive, communications and industrial.

Among the new lines are :
Tantalum T545 and T521 series – A range of high energy density tantalum polymer capacitors in standard chip form featuring extremely low ESR and a wide operating temperature range (-55 / +125°C).

KEMET super capacitors – with the combined characteristics of general capacitors and batteries, it is particularly useful as a secondary battery, such as in DC circuits, microcomputers and RAM.
The MPL series of power inductors with high inductance and efficiency are suited for system power design in servers and notebooks.
The ESD-R series of EMI cores are suited for applications in communication devices and white goods.
The AC line filters in a wide variety of sizes and specifications are suitable for consumer electronics particularly for power supply, AC adapter and battery charger; SC series, SU series and SS series.
The MLCC C Series – C0G, X7R, X5R, Z5U dielectric – support a wide operating temperature range.
