ZTE announced at a press conference in Paris today that its flagship AXON 7 smartphone, unveiled globally on May 26, is now available in Europe. Starting today, the AXON 7 will be available for preorders on Amazon for France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. The AXON 7 will be priced at €449. In coming months, the device will also be available online on GrosBill and offline at Media Markt and Phone House.
“ZTE is excited to celebrate the debut of AXON 7 in Europe, and today marks the global roll-out of our latest flagship smartphone,” said Jacky Zhang, CEO of EMEA and APAC, ZTE Mobile Devices. “With AXON 7’s unbeatable combination of an eye catching design, top-of-the-line specs and an affordable price, we’re positive about demand for AXON 7 in Europe.”
The AXON 7 is designed for people to enjoy a smart lifestyle enhanced by technology, focusing on what matters most to users today: immersive theater-like sound, sleek design, and a lightning-fast camera, all in the palm of one’s hand. ZTE consulted music professors for the phone’s sound and partnered with Design works, a BMW Group subsidiary, on its sleek exterior. Powering the phone’s interior is the Snapdragon 820; the highest end chipset available in the market today. It also comes equipped with two dedicated audio chips from AKM. As a result, the device has earned fantastic reviews and has world renowned pianist Lang Lang as its brand ambassador.
ZTE’s smartphone market share continues to grow in Europe, where it is currently ranked fifth by Counterpoint Technology Market Research. European consumers will be able to purchase ZTE’s devices easily in future as more channels are being made available.
