Motorola rolls out Android 9 pie on Motorola One Power, Nine things to experience with Android 9 pie update

Recently, Motorola has rolled out the Android 9 Pie software OTA update to its popular Motorola One Power smartphone. The new software, which replaces Android Oreo, offers a smarter and simpler experience. Motorola’s first Android One device in India, Motorola One Power, is available exclusively on Flipkart at a price of INR 15,999/.

 

With the Android 9 Pie update, there are 9 new and improved features the users will experience.

  1. Adaptive Brightness –The brightness now learns how you set your brightness in different lighting environments and then sets it accordingly.
  2. Connectivity – Users can now connect their phone to upto 5 Bluetooth devices at a time.
  3. Volume – The phone now remembers the volume you last set for your Bluetooth device(s) and plays audio at their respective volume.
  4. App Actions – The phone with the new update can now predict what you’re going to do next by moving the app above others.
  5. Navigation Gestures – Users can now see their recent apps by just swiping left or right after swiping up on the home button.
  6. Do Not Disturb – The do not disturb mode has been improved and now also silences visual distractions.
  7. Overview Selections – Reading an article and you come across an address you want to know about, the new update allows you to select the address and go to maps right away.
  8. Slices – The feature will now show you relevant parts of your favourite apps on google search, and will also keep it protected with the finger print sensor.
  9. Adaptive Battery – The battery will now adapt to the apps use or don’t and will save battery accordingly.
