COO-at-LAPCARE-Sundeep-Popli• Would you please point out Lapcare’s background and journey so far?

Lapcare is a Singapore based brand set up in India about a decade back in 2004 with focus on quality and innovation is derived from the concept of ‘LAPTOP CARE’ started its operations with compatible batteries and after a successful placement and acceptance of it, encouraged us to introduce laptop adaptors in 2010 along with a wide range of laptop spares and accessories like bag packs, cleaners, laptop screens and recently introduced mobility solutions and much more. We have been regularly adding trendy and innovative product range in our product portfolio

• Would you please brief us about the range of products?

LAPCARE is a well-known brand largely in compatible batteries, adaptors and innovative range of laptop peripherals. We will continue to enhance this range and retain the quality standards.

Moving forth, we recently introduced a range of products in consumer segment like LAPCARE Peripherals (accessories), LAPCARE Smart 3G (3G Dongles & routers), LAPCARE Mobility solutions (power banks, pendrive & car power inverter and more). We have a dedicated department to handle each category. We are going to strengthen ourselves by focusing more on Laptop spares. We will also come into Tablets spares and accessories market.

• How different are they compare to similar product in the market?

We keep on adding innovative and trendy products from time to time which complement today’s lifestyle and provide ease and comfort in working.

They are backed with high quality standards with warranty. Our customer centric approach makes us different from others. Apart from all we have Lapcare Protection Plan (LPP)which makes our brand unique from other similar product brands. Lapcare protection plan is a unique concept for our end users in which their laptops are covered against any malfunction caused by use of our battery, adaptor and car power inverter.

• How Lapcare ipad stand is different from others iPad stand?

Lapcare ipad stand is not just a stand but gives a freedom from fear of theft as it is available in various locking solutions in security slot and security hole. Lapcare ipad stand is a light weight and easy to carry stand with lock. All above features makes different from the other ipad stands.

• How much warranty and damage services you are providing on your products?     

We are providing warranty from 1- 3years on different products and a special benefits like a special warranty program under which in case a end user register the product on our website they get extra 30days warranty. Our warranty can be claimed in a very easy way by just leaving a message on our facebook page or a call to our toll free number and our department will contact the customer immediately.

As mentioned earlier we also have LAPCARE protection plan (LPP) for our customers which is a unique concept for our end users in which their laptops are insured for repair charges against any malfunction due to the use of our battery , adaptor and car power inverter.

• Would you please reflect upon the current trends in the laptop peripherals and accessories market?

Today’s lifestyle is mobile and techsavy where everyone is on a move.

Laptop has become a necessity and a need from students to professionals. With the increasing laptop market the need of peripherals is also increasing whether as an ergonomics product or as a trendy product.

Now as the market trend is going towards mobility solutions so the accessories for this segment is also in great demand, hence there is a huge scope of growth for the accessories market.

• Would you suggest some change in government policy to help laptop peripherals and accessories business in India?

We expect the new Govt. to simplify the tax structure so that small business people can prosper. This will help grow the SMB Segment which is required for overall growth. And Govt.  should take active action to create  actual IT user-base in these markets that look at mobile phones as everything today.

•Are you providing service support for your Lapcare products? How many service supports in India?

Customer satisfaction is the most important factor and after sales service is one of the important aspects for it not only for us but for any organization.

We strongly believe in customer satisfaction and have various medium for customer support like Toll free number, website open forum discussion and mail id’s and is managed by dedicated department to take care of any query, complain, replacement and they work as per a specific TAT to resolve any complain.

• Now a days, everybody is talking about vision 2020, so where you want to see Lapcare in 2020. Are you making some plans for it?

Mission of 2020 for Lapcare is to  touch 500 crores turnover and will become a pioneer brand in lifestyle products by adding many innovative and trendy products.

• What is your market strategy for Indian market?

Our Go to market strategy will be product focused. We continue to open more locations with help of Rx Infotech, our authorized distributor in India. At the same time now we have started appointing Regional Partners as stockists who have the product basket and the market strength to justify our product range.

Our marketing team is always on move to create enough brand visibility to our retailers and end users via mix of mediums. We also support our partners with all branding possibilities. We keep on introducing promotional schemes and contests for our resellers & master resellers and cherish our association. On the products end we will introduce a new product range which is more focused on consumer and telecom industry, which will be the growth for our company.

• How many Channel partners you have and in which zone, You have the strongest Channel presence in India?

LAPCARE will be addressed, as the most  favorable  brand for channel partner community.

We are also engaged with more than 6500 partners and resellers across India and also have been associated with Rx Infotech Private Limited for distribution of our products.

• Some words for our channel community….

I consider our channel partners as an extension of our Lapcare family and we want to see them growing in life and business. We believe the ability to create and deploy solutions is a key competitive advantage for our partners.
