Software developers from across India are invited to participate in the three-day long online HikeAthon and compete against the crème de la crème of the developer community.
Hike lays a lot of emphasis on simplicity of design and the power of simple solutions to complex problems and through this initiative, the company is aiming at gathering like-minded developers for the 3 day online hackfest. The HikeAthon was envisaged to give the budding young talent in India, a platform to showcase their zeal and skill to build beautiful and simple mobile apps.

Participants can win up to Rs. 10 Lacs in cash and goodies. The top cash prize is of INR 500,000 and beyond that, the participants have a chance to win iPads and also a chance to spend a day with the hike team. The HikeAthon 2014, a free online event, also gives budding talent across the country a chance to put their mobile app development skills to the ultimate test.

The event will start from December 19, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. IST, 2014 and will continue till December 22, 9:00 a.m. IST. Developers can show their mobile development prowess on Android, iOS and Windows phone platforms.
