RCOM launches Games Arcade App, in partnership with Opera Apps Club

Reliance subscribers can now access premium mobile games with the launch of the Games Arcade App, a digital store of almost 300+ select, premium and popular Android games. The store is powered by Opera Apps Club.

As a departure from the present way of purchasing individual games from the Google Play store, Reliance Games Arcade provides freedom to download and play hundreds of curated games available in the store for an affordable price of Rs 15 for 10 days. The use of games is unrestricted during the validity period without any limit to download. The games are procured from top developers around the world.

All the games available for download in the app are full versions, they include in-app purchases and they let users enjoy an ad-free gaming experience. The Reliance Games Arcade app comes with an advanced app discovery option that enables users to view daily featured apps, most downloaded apps and more.

Customers do not need credit or debit cards to purchase games from Reliance Games Arcade. The subscription fee can be paid through the customer’s mobile balance or added to the postpaid bill.

Peter Panait Løjmand, Senior Vice President of Opera Apps Club, said, “The Indian smartphone market is primarily being propelled by youth under the age of 25 years, which comprises 63% gamers. Opera Apps Club is at the forefront of bringing consumers closer to their passions, and our partnership with Reliance for the Reliance Games Arcade is a step towards that. We are confident gamers will enjoy the experience and the adrenaline rush it offers.”

Gurdeep Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Consumer Business, Reliance Communications Limited, said, “With increased penetration of smartphones in the country, we are focusing on providing our discerning consumers with an array of rich digital services to meet their ever-evolving demands. Gaming is hugely popular among young Indian consumers; we are happy to bring this Games Arcade app to all our Reliance network users.”
